A second part of the collaboration between the Mudam Luxembourg and the Musée des Arts et Métiers (Museum of Arts and Crafts), the exhibition “Art Laboratories” prolongs the efforts made for the exhibition “Eppur si muove” presented in Luxembourg from July 2015 to January 2016.

In the exhibition, based on dialogue and reciprocity, pieces from the Musée des Arts et Métiers strike a chord with artistic contemporary creations, of which most of them are on display at the Mudam. The exhibition focuses on the notion of common experience in scientific and artistic research.

“Art Laboratories” is divided into five chapters around experimentation approaches move entitled ‘Invitation to experiment‘, ‘Unfurled forms’, ‘Optical games’, ‘Signs of the invisible’ and ‘Acoustic Figures’. They underline the perception of physical phenomena’s issues and their representation through objects and artworks often surprising.
