FOTOFEVER, INVITED TO THE 12TH EDITION OF D'ART UP! PHOTOGRAPHY HONOURED IN LILLE

Fotofever, the first international fair devoted to collecting photography, will be showcasing 9 galleries and international publishers at the 12th edition of Art Up! from February 28th to March 3rd 2019 at Lille Grand Palais.

This year, Lille’s contemporary art fair has invited its 107 exhibitors and 38,000 visitors to explore the theme of “Photography’s place at the heart of contemporary creation”.

To mark the event, Art Up! will be playing host to fotofever for the very first time in order to introduce visitors to the notion of collecting photography.

Thanks to this initiative, fotofever’s partner galleries will benefit from an additional opportunity to expand their contacts amongst a new target audience of contemporary art enthusiasts and informed collectors from the Hauts-de-France region and the Lille-Kortrijk-Tournai Eurometropolis.

Fotofever will present 9 galleries and international publishers at Art Up! Fotofever will present 9 galleries and international publishers in a 400m2 space located at the heart of the fair; they will be exhibiting the works of 25 artists from 8 different countries.

 

3 START TO COLLECT events

A selection of START TO COLLECT works priced under 1,000€.

The Collector’s Lounge: a variant on fotofever Paris’ emblematic “Collector’s Apartment”, the “Lounge du Collectionneur” will present a selection of works in an interior designed in partnership with Roche Bobois.

A programme of talks: every day, visitors to the fair can take part in discussions focussing on the photographic medium and collecting photography.

 

FOTOFEVER

Ever since it was created in 2011 FOTOFEVER, the first international fair devoted to collecting photography, has been inviting amateurs, collectors, artists, gallerists and other arts professionals to discover the very best in emerging contemporary photography.

Driven by its ambition to encourage more and more people to start collecting, fotofever launched the START TO COLLECT programme, which has become a reference in terms of promoting collecting photography.
