Applicat-Prazan, Modern and Contemporary Art, has unveiled its new website www.applicat-prazan.com.

This reference website on the Post-War School of Paris features texts from Lydia Harambourg.

Applicat-Prazan has entrusted the creation of the website to Communic’Art.

A reference website on the Post-War School of Paris

Applicat-Prazan is a gallery dedicated to the main artists of the Post-War School of Paris : Appel, Atlan, Bazaine, Bissière, Bryen, Charchoune, Chu Teh-Chun, Corneille, Debré, Dubuffet, Estève, Fautrier, Freundlich, Hartung, Hélion, Herbin, Jorn, Lam, Lanskoy, Magnelli, Manessier, Masson, Mathieu, Poliakoff, Riopelle, Schneider, Soulages, de Staël, Vasarely, Bram and Geer van Velde, Vieira da Silva, Zao Wou-ki…

The new website includes the perspective of Lydia Harambourg on this period. Historian, writer, journalist, art critic, and a specialist in nineteenth and twentieth century painting and sculpture, Lydia Harambourg elaborates on “the freedom, taste for risk and jubilation that characterised these years of struggle”.

A more interactive website, compatible with mobile devices

Compatible with the latest devices and mobile Internet, the new Applicat-Prazan website is also more interactive, and offers a virtual museum feature allowing the viewer to discover a selection of artworks previously exhibited at the gallery.

Applicat-Prazan, highly selective

Applicat-Prazan rigorously selects the most significant works by artists from the Post-War School of Paris.

Located in Paris at two sites, one on the Left Bank at 16 rue de Seine, the other on the Right Bank at 14 avenue Matignon, founded by Bernard Prazan, the gallery has been managed by Franck Prazan since 2004.
