Galerie Derouillon, IN PARIS PRESENTS "REMAINING PARTS", A NEW SOLO SHOW BY DIANE DAL-PRA, 18 OCTOBER - 26 NOVEMBER 2022
Galerie Derouillon is pleased to present "Remaining Parts", Diane Dal-Pra's second solo exhibition with the gallery, from October 18th to November 26th 2022.
Focusing on the rituals of our daily lives, Diane Dal-Pra examines our relationship with objects and how they become poetic vehicles for introspection.
The figures depicted are constantly hidden, or simply averted from our view. The Renaissance and the Mannerist movement are fundamental references for Diane Dal-Pra, who also shares with Domenico Gnoli an inclination for multi-sensory painting and disturbing compositions.
Galerie Derouillon was founded in 2013 in Paris. It is dedicated to the discovery and promotion of emerging contemporary artists, ensuring their first solo exhibitions as well as long-term support. Particularly committed to the international development of its artists, the gallery now shares representation of Diane Dal-Pra with Massimo De Carlo (Milan, London, Hong Kong), Alex Foxton with Various Small Fires (Los Angeles, Dallas, Seoul), Anastasia Bay with "Sorry We're Closed" (Brussels) and Vojtech Kovarik with Mendes Wood DM (New York, São Paulo, Brussels).
At the beginning of 2022, the gallery marked an important step in its development by moving to a new 350m2 space in the second arrondissement of Paris.
