The viewing rooms present the current exhibitions on at Galerie Templon’s spaces in Paris and Brussels: Jim Dine’s “The Classic Prints” in Brussels, Billie Zangewa’s “Soldier of Love” at the rue Beaubourg space and Norbert Bisky’s “Desmadre Berlin” at the rue du Grenier-Saint-Lazare space.

As the spaces are currently closed due to the confinement period, the gallery made the decision to launch the viewing rooms as a way for art lovers to experience the exhibitions in their own homes.

The Paris exhibitions opened just before the confinement period started and will be extended so that people can visit after it is over, but the viewing rooms give them a chance to see all of the works and the overall hanging of the exhibitions online.

Importantly, the viewing rooms also feature video interviews with the artists talking about their work, inspirations, and ideas behind the exhibition.

Jim Dine’s “The Classic Prints”

For his return to Galerie Templon's Brussels space after six years, Jim Dine, one of the most significant American artists of his generation, is presenting a retrospective look at his print work, an art that he has become recognized over the years as one of the greatest masters.

Billie Zangewa’s “Soldier of Love”

Galerie Templon is holding its first exhibition of work by Malawian artist Billie Zangewa. The South Africa-based artist has chosen to mark this special occasion with a message of hope and unity. A golden-fingered embroiderer, she has gradually garnered recognition on the African and international art scene.

Norbert Bisky’s “Desmadre Berlin”

On his first return to Paris since 2014, German painter Norbert Bisky plunges us into the heart of his native capital city: the wild Desmadre Berlin of the inter-war period, a world of hedonism and anarchy whose traces are still to be found on the capital's walls today.
