Museum is the first TV channel entirely dedicated to visual arts, sculpture, photography, design, architecture aimed at art aficionados and art lovers.

Launched on 25 April 2017, the channel Museum is available in France in more than 7 million homes through Canal, Orange and Freebox, as well as in Russia, Ukraine, Poland, Italy, Romania and 26 African countries.

Museum is designed to offer entertainment, discovery and information with programmes made exclusively about the arts in the form of documentaries, games, series, competitions, and interviews.

Today the channel is run by Pascal Josèphe who took over in March 2020, as well as Pierre Cesbron, director of the television station and production who started in February 2020.

THE FOUR MAIN THEMES OF THE PROGRAMME SCHEDULE:
Museum centres its schedule around four major themes revolving around visual arts and namely: Fine Arts, Pop Art, Images, and Architecture and Design.

• FINE ARTS: Documentaries about the masters of Art History

• POP ART: Art programmes about popular new art forms (street art, perfoemance art, body art)

• IMAGES: In the days of Instagram and YouTube, we have all become potential artists discover the works of the masters of this genre (photographers and video art)

• ARCHITECTURE & DESIGN: Documentaries and encounters with architects and designers

Every day and every evening, great artists, as well as art lovers with a lot of originality, are the subject of fascinating and interesting documentaries.

The weekends are devoted to showcasing major exhibitions, festivals, tributes, and spotlight events.

In addition to the programmes purchased in France and abroad, each year Museum produces more than 140 hours of programmes in 4K Ultra High Definition.
