Cuturi Gallery inaugurates its first European space at the Palais-Royal with “Decadence & Decay”, a group exhibition curated by Deborah Lim (Singapore)
On March 19, 2026, Kevin Troyano Cuturi, founder of Cuturi gallery in Singapore, inaugurates the gallery’s first European space in the heart of the Palais-Royal in Paris with the opening exhibition Decadence & Decay.
Decadence & Decay is a transdisciplinary group exhibition conceived as a dialogue between art, design, and fashion. The exhibition explores the shifting notions of beauty, taste, and renewal, offering a reflection on transition, metamorphosis, and the creative forces that emerge precisely when splendor begins to fade. The exhibition also pays tribute to the memory of the venue through a nod to Didier Ludot, collector and pioneer of second-hand haute couture, whose gallery once occupied the Palais-Royal boutique.
Eight major artists from the European and Southeast Asian scenes are brought into dialogue: Jane Lee, Iris van Herpen, Mahalakshmi Kannappan, Hubert Le Gall, Sookoon Ang, Lionel Sabatté, Hiromi Tango, and Khairulddin Wahab.
To open this new chapter and highlight the gallery’s deep connection with Asia, Cuturi has entrusted its first Paris exhibition to Singaporean curator Deborah Lim.
Founded in 2019 in Singapore, Cuturi gallery stands out through a philosophy that associates art with liberation and meaning. Inclusive by nature, the gallery is committed to fostering dialogue between emerging and established artists and curators from all backgrounds and cultures. Rooted in Singapore while collaborating with key players across the Asia-Pacific and European markets, the gallery builds cultural bridges and encourages new forms of exchange between artists, curators, and audiences. This positioning, shaped through a program of residencies, exhibitions, and transnational collaborations, now finds a natural extension with the opening of Cuturi gallery in Europe, and more specifically in Paris.
