47 is the number of internationally renowned dealers confirmed to celebrate non-European art this year. This selection brings together a group of little-known masterpieces that are remarkable for their diversity. Africa, of course, is the central axis around which the arts of Oceania, from Polynesia to Micronesia, via Australian aboriginal art, but also those of North America and Asia, where Japan, India, the Himalayas and Indonesia compete in beauty.

Parcours des mondes 2022 also includes more than a dozen thematic exhibitions, a long-standing collaboration with the Monnaie de Paris, and the extraordinary exhibition "Résonance: Jean-Michel Basquiat and the Kongo Universe" to be held at the Gradiva Gallery.

A particularly demanding vetting process is conducted by independent experts in two sessions, the first in June and the second in September, outside the presence of the galleries, by a group of experts specialised in each category. Any unresolved doubt leads to the exclusion of the disputed piece.

It should be noted that there are almost no appeals on the pieces exhibited during the Parcours des mondes. These measures contribute to the reputation of the Parcours des mondes as the world's leading fair in terms of exhibitor participation and visits from amateurs and collectors.
